This dataset includes RNA-seq data from four brain regions (cortex, striatum, hippocampus, and cerebellum) of Macaca mulatta through three aging stages: young (3-6 years old), middle-aged (12-13 years old), and old (22-23 years old). The cerebral mRNA was extracted from brain tissues using the TRIzol reagent and subsequently synthesized into cDNA using the PrimeScript RT Reagent Kit with gDNA Eraser (Takara, RR047A) following the manufacturer's protocol.
