The report ‘Asbestos – Materials for Waste Management’ is a background document for the Austrian Federal Waste Management Plan. This volume of materials provides an overview of • the asbestos waste streams in Austria, • the properties of asbestos and its harmfulness, • the occurrence of asbestos in building materials, household goods and other products, • the legal provisions and instructions for the health and environmental protection of asbestos-containing goods, • the legal provisions and instructions for the treatment and disposal of asbestos waste. The focus of the report is on the presentation of the instructions for action a) for the renovation of buildings with asbestos-containing building materials, b) for the handling and disposal of asbestos-containing waste.《石棉——废物管理用材料》报告是奥地利联邦废物管理计划的背景文件。本册资料概述了以下内容： • 奥地利境内的石棉废物流 • 石棉的特性及其危害性 • 石棉在建筑材料、家居用品及其他产品中的存在情况 • 含石棉物品的健康与环境保护相关法律法规及操作指引 • 石棉废弃物处理与处置的法律法规及操作指引 本报告的核心重点在于阐述两类行动指引：a）含石棉建筑材料的建筑物翻新作业；b）含石棉废弃物的搬运与处置工作。
