DNA methylation mediates overgrazing-induced clonal transgenerational plasticity

This project investigated the phenotypic plasticity and auxin pathway at the transcriptome level in the Leymus chinensis clonal offspring experiencing different grazing histories. Half of the plants were treated with 5-azacytidine, which is a demethylating agent, to test the potential role of DNA methylation on transgenerational effects.
