Leading applicants in 3D printing medical equipment worldwide 2001-2020

Between 2001 and 2020, Johnson & Johnson had applied for the most 3D printing international patent families (IPFs) specialized in medical equipment at 115. Smith & Nephew has more than 50 IPFs, while Boston Scientific has just under 50. An IPF covers a single invention and includes patent applications filed and published at several patent offices.
