Restoration Model of a Pit-House in the Early Kofun Period This restoration model of a pit-house dwelling is displayed on the second floor of the exhibition hall of the Tondabayashi City Municipal Buried Cultural Properties Center. It is modeled after a pit-house dwelling from the Early Kofun Period discovered during archaeological excavations conducted in the 1980s, and recreates the daily life of the era, including a fire hearth, Haji ware, stone dishes, straw crafts, and other depictions of contemporary daily life.
