On the left plate, the triumphant Christ crushes Evil, symbolized by demonic animals (an asp, a basil, a lion and a dragon). The other plaque represents the Annunciation (the announcement of the birth of Christ) and the Visitation (Mary's visit to Elisabeth). Many small fixing holes suggest that the two plates were originally fixed on a wooden core, perhaps a box or a binding plate.

热努埃尔瑟伦（Genoelselderen）象牙制品，地处莱茵-摩泽尔（Rhéno-Mosane）地区，受岛屿文化影响，年代为8世纪末，材质包含象牙与蓝色玻璃。该文物出自通厄伦附近的热努埃尔瑟伦圣马丁教堂，现藏于比利时布鲁塞尔五十周年纪念艺术与历史博物馆（Musée du Cinquantenaire）。本数据集由欧特克（Autodesk）ReCap Pro软件制作。

左侧饰板上，得胜的基督击溃以邪灵为象征的邪恶势力，邪灵以角蝰、basil、狮子与恶龙为象征。另一块饰板则描绘了天使报喜（基督降生的宣告）与圣母访亲（玛利亚拜访伊丽莎白）。板上遍布细小的固定孔表明，这两块饰板原本被固定于木质基底之上，该基底可能为盒体或固定用饰板。
