H3K4me3 profiling of control pLKO.1 and Set1A KD OSCC cells following in vitro exposure to palmitic acid (PA) for 4 days and after 14 days of palmitic acid withdrawal. Overall design: H3K4me3 ChIPs of Untreated and post 14 days palmitic acid (PA)-treated VDH-15 cells were performed in biological triplicates (control pLKO.1 and Set1A KD cells). The aim of this data set was to determine whether H3K4me3 displayed different ChIP profiles 14 days post PA stimulation when compared to the control Untreated condition (control pLKO.1 cells). Also, Set1A knock down (KD) cells were assessed for genome wide long-term chromatin changes induced by a short exposure to PA; allowing us to compare differences in long-term H3K4me3 changes between control pLKO.1 and Set1A KD cells upon PA stimulation and to characterize the role of the Set1A methyltransferase in such H3K4me3 PA-induced changes. Please note that the 'input DNA_VDH15' (GSM4489108) is duplicated sample record of GSM4489074 for the convenient retrieval of the complete raw data from SRA as it was re-used.
