资源简介:
Anisakis simplex is a cosmopolitan parasitic nematode of marine organisms characterized by a complex developmental cycle. Consumption of fish containing larvae can pose a serious health risk, as these parasites can penetrate the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract and cause damage to the stomach and intestinal walls, and trigger allergic reactions. According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), A. simplex has been classified as a biohazardous organism. Most developmental stages of parasitic nematodes occur under anaerobic conditions and the larvae obtain most of their energy from saccharides. The development of A. simplex L3 and L4 occurs under anaerobic conditions and the larvae derive most of their energy from saccharides. The study aimed to compare and identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of the transcriptome and to identify different AS events of L3 and L4 larval stages of A. simplex exposed to glucose (10 mg/ml) in vitro. High-throughput sequencing (Illumina) and bioinformatics were used to achieve this goal. The results obtained should lead to a better understanding of the molecular processes underlying the development of A. simplex infection in humans and will complement the existing knowledge on the role of nutrients of this parasite.
