Genome assembly and annotation of rye (Secale cereale, Weining v2.0)

This dataset contains the genome assembly of rye (Secale cereale, Weining v2.0), together with the corresponding gene annotation and repeat annotation. The assembly was generated using PacBio HiFi, Oxford Nanopore ultra-long, and Illumina sequencing data. Gene models were predicted using a combination of de novo, homology-based, and transcriptome-supported approaches, while repetitive sequences were identified and annotated using both de novo and homology-based methods.
