We report the application of next generation sequencing (RNA-seq) to characterize the transcriptome of different types of hematopoeitic stem cells and progenitor cells in bone marrow of healthy and spondyloarthritic mice. Characterization of FACS sorted long term hematopoietic stem cells (LT-HSC) , short term hematopoietic stem cells (ST-HSC) and multipotent progenitor cells (MPP) from bone marrow of healthy and spondyloarthritic mice. Three separate experiments were performed. LT-HSC were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34-ve, CD150+ve, CD48-ve. ST-HSC were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34+ve, CD150+ve. MPP were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34+ve, CD150-ve, CD48+ve
