This repository contains the reach-scale metabolism and patch-scale metabolism data from six biomes used in the study "Interaction Between Physiology and Environmental Heterogeneity Generates Discrepancies in Stream Metabolism across Spatial Scales". The repository also contains R code to reproduce the analysis in the study.

metab_reach.csv: reach-scale metabolism parameters
metab_chamber.csv: patch-scale metabolism parameters
metab_byreach.csv: reach- and patch-scale metabolism parameters matched by study location
alpha_PAR: patch-scale metabolism parameters matched with light at the corresponding location
alpha_canopy: patch-scale metabolism parameters matched with canopy cover at the corresponding location
fig2_3_4.R: R code used to generate figures 2-4 in the manuscript
fig_5.R: R code used to generate figure 5
fig3_stats.R: statistical analysis corresponding to results shown in figure 3
