Areas of proximity to the Town Hall of Cannes. In order to best meet the expectations of the inhabitants, the municipality has developed different “tools” to promote the improvement of our living environment. Thus, in 2014, an innovative proximity policy was initiated and gradually expanded. Links and exchanges with locals and traders have been strengthened through the organisation of monthly offices of elected officials in all neighbourhoods with personalised follow-up, neighbourhood meetings, consultation meetings; as well as the creation of the section “Your neighbourhood – Your questions” and the Cannes Civic application. As early as 2015, in order to allow the implementation of municipal action, as close as possible to the reality of the field, a mapping of the neighborhoods has been defined according to the “living quarters”. Today, 12 neighborhoods divided into 63 neighbourhoods square the communal territory.
