The R file "Dataset_and_Tree_complete.RData" includes the global genus-level tree (9496 accepted genera of vascular plants) and the distributional dataset (9496 across 368 regions). The file "Dataset_and_Tree_50_or_more.RData" includes the distributional subset that resulted after removing regions with less than 50 genera (9489 genera across 345 regions) and the corresponding tree (data analyzed in the study).<br>Citation: Molina-Venegas, R. & Lima, H.
