资源简介:
Research Hypothesis: This dataset supports the hypothesis that variations in process parameters and weather conditions significantly influence the efficiency and performance of farm-scale anaerobic biodigesters. It aims to establish correlations between external environmental factors and biodigester methane yield, stability, and overall functionality. The overall goal is to optimize livestock manure fed farm-scale digesters for maximum biogas and organic fertilizer production. Data Overview: The dataset consists of two key components: Process Data – Includes parameters such as temperature, pH, hydraulic retention time (HRT), biogas production rate, methane content, and volatile solids reduction. Weather Data – Covers ambient temperature, humidity, solar radiation, rainfall, and wind speed, as well as digester temperature collected at biodigester sites. Data Collection Methodology: Process monitoring data was gathered through on-site sensors, manual sampling, and lab analysis at regular intervals. Weather data was obtained from on-farm weather sensors. Notable Findings: Significant seasonal variations were observed in biogas production, with lower yields during colder months. Higher ambient temperatures correlated with increased methane content and overall efficiency. Rainfall and excessive moisture impacted feedstock consistency and digestate quality. Variability in organic loading rates (OLR) and temperature affected system stability, with optimum operating conditions were identified. Interpretation and Use: Researchers can analyze correlations between process efficiency and environmental factors. Policymakers can use the findings to design climate-smart livestock production and biodigester policies. Farmers and technicians can optimize operational parameters based on local weather conditions, energy needs and digester's operating parameters. This dataset provides critical insights into how farm-scale anaerobic digestion systems respond to environmental conditions and operating conditions, supporting circular economy efforts to enhance biogas production efficiency, sustainably manage livestock waste, recycle nutrients and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
