The SCOOP12 secreted peptide regulates root growth through the control of the O2.- / H2O2 balance and cell wall modification and has a pleiotropic effect on a bunch of hormones in Arabidopsis. Overall design: MEZ (meristematic-elongation zone) and DZ (differentiation zone) of eleven day roots of proscoop12 mutant were compared to wild-type Ws in control condition or 100nM SCOOP12 treated condition
