This is the SYNTRA experimental dataset, a sample dataset derived from the NovelSense SYNTRA EU Hubs 4 Data experiment. This experiment supported the development of a web application accessible at https://syntra.app. The dataset is a synthetic transportation infrastructure dataset designed for validating, training, and optimizing traffic AI models. It was constructed using 14 distinct visualization configurations, covering aspects such as the color spectrum of cars, camera noise, backgrounds, and driving trajectories, among others. The dataset consists of PNG and XML files, with each PNG file paired with a corresponding XML file that holds annotation information in PascalVOC format. The naming structure for these files follows the pattern: XXXXXX-C-M_frame_F.(png|xml), where XXXXXX represents the string encoding of the configuration, C denotes the configuration number, M refers to the video within the specified configuration, and F is the frame number in that video. The dataset was generated using the development build of SYNTRA and exclusively contains cars.
