Roe's Abalone Sustainability

This project entails catch and effort database monitoring, dive surveys to monitor stocks, policy advice and liaison, annual status reports and stock assessment, assistance to other state fishery bodies with population model development and publication of manuscripts in reputable international journals on issues relevant to the fishery.The project provides: * an overview annual report on the status of the Roe's abalone fishery; * management advice as to the long-term sustainability of the Roe's Abalone Managed Fishery; and * assistance to industry and management decision-makers by investigating and reporting on the biology of Roe's abalone.

本项目涵盖渔获量与捕捞努力量数据库监测、渔业资源种群潜水调查、政策咨询与联络协调、年度现状报告编制与渔业资源评估、协助其他州级渔业机构开展种群模型开发，以及在具有公信力的国际期刊上发表与渔业相关的学术论文。本项目可提供以下支持：
* 罗氏鲍（Roe's abalone）渔场现状年度概览报告；
* 针对罗氏鲍管理渔场的长期可持续性提供管理咨询建议；
* 通过开展罗氏鲍生物学调查并形成研究报告，为行业及管理决策者提供辅助支持。
