We performed a comparative transcriptomics study of murine immune, fibrotic and skin gene expression profiles in subcutaneous bleomycin injection to determine whether this model mirrors human morphea (localized scleroderma). Overall design: Whole transcriptome profiling was performed on mouse skin injected subcutaneously with bleomycin or PBS vehicle control for 5, 9, 12, 16, 21 and 28 days.
