The sculptor, Vincent Adrien Robert Kesserling, ordered a block of white marble to be deposited on the border of lake Leman. From 1987 to 1989 he sculpted the Lady of the Lake in front of passersby who, by the time he was done with it, were marvelled at the sight of his work. This dataset has been acquired and processed by the students of the Digital 3D Geometry Course taught by Prof. Mark Pauly at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL, Switzerland. Please visit http://lgg.epfl.ch/statues for more information This object is part of Scan The World. Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free. Scan the World is an open source, community effort, if you have interesting items around you and would like to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to find out how you can help.

该模型属于Scan The World项目。
