Religious Census of Northamptonshire, 1851

<P>Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.</P><br>The data collected in this project was used to publish a county summary of religious worship from the census data collected in March 1851. The resulting dataset contains a summary of the key statistical data for 661 returns for Northamptonshire parishes.<br><B>Main Topics</B>:<BR><br>This dataset represents a complete transcription of the statistical data from the returns. Data for this collection include fields like attendance at morning, afternoon and evening worship, the number of Sunday scholars, the date the church of meeting place was built, the amount of accommodation (seating) and the average attendance over the previous 12 months. In addition, for each return, the denomination of the place of worship is included.<br>
