VISUAL_MISOGYNY_IT_ES

Contains Twitter and Facebook visual data retrieved in order to conceptualize different strategies of digital visual misogyny against women politicians in Italy and Spain. The corpus includes images which have been either altered (“image manipulation”) or wrongly attributed (“fake identity attribution”) to the Italian politicians Laura Boldrini and Maria Elena Boschi and the Spanish politicians Inés Arrimadas and Teresa Rodríguez. Original images are also included when available. Total number of images: 58.
