Renewable energy; solar power, wind energy, RES region

This table contains figures on the generated power (MW) and production (generated electricity, million kWh) of wind energy on land and solar power, from 2018. The data does not include wind turbines in the sea. The climate agreement sets out the following objective: at least (weather dependent) 35 TWh renewable energy generation on land by 2030. This statement relates to wind and solar power installations > 15 kilowatts (kW). In the Regional Energy Strategy (RES), the regional share of the national task is as concrete as possible. In order to monitor the progress of this objective, an additional breakdown of the solar power installations is included in the table: small (<= 15 kW) and large (> 15 kW) power. The figures can be broken down by province, RES and subRES region. The regional classification is always based on the municipal classification of the year in question.The installations as at 31-12-2019 are thus represented in the 2019 regional classification and those as of 31-12-2020 in the 2020 regional classification, etc. This table was drawn up in the framework of Vivet (improving the provision of information for the energy transition) and financed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Data available from:2018 Status of the figures: The data for 2919 and 2020 are final and the 2021 data are further provisional. Changes as of January 2023: Further preliminary figures for 2021 have been added. The 2020 figures have been revised on the basis of newly obtained information and have become final.
