Acidisoma sp. strain C75 (=NBRC 103870 =BCC 36997) was isolated from Chinese water chestnut (Eleocharis dulcis) growing in the actual acid sulfate soil area of Thailand. Strain C75 is plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. The genome sequence of strain C75 provides information on the mechanisms of acid tolerance and plant growth promotion in actual acid sulfate soil.
