资源简介:

Overview This service presents modeled flood elevation surfaces for Broward County, Florida, derived from the MIKE SHE hydrological model and the 2018 Broward County 2-foot DEM. It visualizes flood elevations in NAVD88 across a countywide area for multiple rainfall, sea level rise, planning horizon, and storm surge scenarios. Layers Continuous flood elevation surfaces for scenario-based conditions including 10-year and 25-year rainfall, 100-year rainfall, normal high tide, intermediate low and intermediate high sea level rise, current planning horizon, 2040 planning horizon, 2070 planning horizon, and 100-year storm surge. Characteristics Each image in the service represents a modeled flood elevation grid, with each cell showing the estimated water surface elevation for the specified scenario. The service supports map display, tiled access, and tile map responses for efficient visualization. Temporal summary: The service contains scenario-based planning surfaces for current, 2040, 2047, and 2070 planning horizons. It supports comparison of modeled conditions across these future horizons. Image interpretation: The imagery shows continuous flood elevation values across the landscape, forming a water-surface elevation model that can be used for viewing and comparing inundation conditions. Geographic Coverage The service covers Broward County, Florida, within the Broward County East coordinate system and a countywide extent spanning the coastal and inland area of the county. Use Cases This service supports flood risk mapping, drainage and infrastructure planning, emergency response preparation, and policy development related to flood hazard management in Broward County.
