Fuel Moisture Content Data from the 2023 Department of Defense Wildland Fire Science Initiative Eglin Air Force Base Campaign

To measure fuel moisture content, vegetation was collected at adjacent burn units with similar land cover, species composition, and time since the last prescribed burn to G-20 and G-25. This datasetprovides the fuel moisture content by fuel type data collected in March 2023.This dataset is part of the Wildland Fire Science Initiative (WFSI) research burn campaign held at Eglin Air Force Base from March 11 to 19, 2023. In addition, pre- and post-fire data collection occurred before and after these dates.
