For this reason, this study investigated the distribution characteristics of ARGs in onion tissues by applying different organic fertilizers by combining macro-genome sequencing and HT-qPCR, and also integrated targeted metabolomics to analyze the phenolic metabolite fractions of onion roots, with a view to revealing the effects of applying organic fertilizers of pig manure and sheep manure on the distribution and bioaccumulation of ARGs in onion tissues and their causes.
