Transcriptome of Fusarium graminearum CS3005

Fusarium graminearum (CS3005) was pre-grown for 3 days on minimum medium and then was distantly inoculated with Brachypodium distachyon (Bd21-3) roots. Mock inoculation of the fungus was used as control. At 5 days post inoculation, the fungal mycelia were growing either towards (pre-contact) or inside (infected) the roots. At this time point, the infected roots, and the fungal materials (from mock and pre-contact) were harvested.
