NRS-9920 | General standing instructions [Internal Audit Section]

This series consists of duplicated sheets forwarded to the Internal Audit Section by all sections of the Board and pasted into volumes. They record working instructions to staff covering such areas as duties of officers, procedures to be followed, forms to be used and records to be kept, standard charges and cost schedules, accounting systems and procedures, disposal of equipment, plant hire and operating instructions. They appear to have been collated as a set of operating procedures in about 1954 and to have been regularly updated until 1972.
