China Agricultural Carbon Emissions Panel Data, 2000‒2022

This release provides a harmonized provincial panel for 2000–2022 that fuses agricultural carbon emissions, demographic trends, economic growth and energy metrics across mainland China. Carbon outputs follow IPCC 2006 coefficients, while other series—urbanization, private employment, FDI inflow, energy intensity and more—stem from National Bureau of Statistics publications and provincial yearbooks. All variables are z-score standardized; missing cells are below three percent and filled only when trends are monotonic. Roughly ten thousand numeric observations are ready for econometric, spatial or machine-learning analyses exploring the drivers of China’s low-carbon transition.本次发布的数据集包含一套针对2000—2022年的统一口径省级面板数据，整合了中国大陆地区的农业碳排放、人口趋势、经济增长与能源指标。碳排放测算采用政府间气候变化专门委员会（Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change，IPCC）2006年系数标准；其余序列——包括城镇化率、私营就业、外商直接投资（Foreign Direct Investment, FDI）流入、能源强度等——均取自国家统计局公开资料与省级统计年鉴。所有变量均经过Z得分标准化处理；缺失值占比低于3%，仅在数据趋势呈单调变化时进行填充。数据集总计约含一万条数值型观测值，可用于计量经济学、空间分析或机器学习等研究，以探究中国低碳转型的驱动因素。
