Most Latin Grammy Award-winning individuals of all time

As of February 2022, Puerto Rican stepbrothers Eduardo Cabra and René Pérez Joglar were the individuals who had won the most Latin Grammys ever, with 28 and 27 awards, respectively. Out of that total, 22 Latin Grammys were given to their band, Calle 13. On stage, Joglar and Cabra also call themselves Residente and Visitante, Spanish for “home” and “guest” teams in a match. The Dominican musician Juan Luis Guerra also received 27 awards. The only women to make it to the top 10 were Mexican folk singer Natalia Lafourcade with 14 Latin Grammys and Colombian pop star Shakira, with 13. Caetano Veloso – the only Brazilian in this ranking – also received 13 trophies. As of 2021, Hungarian-born British orchestral and operatic conductor Georg Solti (1912-1997) was the most Grammy Award-winning individual of all time with 24 trophies. Even amid the actors with the most Oscar nominations, the only one who got the closest to becoming an EGOT was Laurence Olivier (1907-1989). He won almost all the trophies. The exception was, precisely, the Grammy.
