Census of Population and Housing, 1970: Master Enumeration District (MED) Lists with Coordinates

<p>For MEDList, with Coordinates, there is one file for each of the nine census divisions. The records contain the names of counties, minor civil divisions (MCDs), census county divisions (CCDs), and places. Records are also provided for census tracts, enumeration districts, and block groups. 1970 census geographic codes are provided for each state, county, MCD / CCD, MCD or CCD place segment, census tract, enumeration district (ED), and block group. The files also have the 1970 population and housing unit count for each geographic unit identified.
