Birthplaces of the population of Moers 2017

The dataset contains the birthplaces of the Moerser women with principal residence in Moers (population on 31.12.2017) Since there may be inaccuracies in the data (e.g. incorrect or outdated spellings of place names), birthplaces with fewer than 10 people living in Moers were not taken into account. When processing the data, the following points shall be taken into account: Outdated spellings such as “Prussian Stargard” (= today “Starogard Gdański”) should be observed. There are many entries from previous places that have belonged to another place since the territorial reform in 1975 (for example, “Kapellen now Moers”). These entries would have to be recoded accordingly.
