Citation-based summarization of landmark judgments Datasets

Citation-Based Summarization of Landmark Judgments This release provides datasets developed for research on automatic citation-based legal text summarization, with a focus on Indian legal landmark judgments. Datasets Included IN-Jud-Cit: A dataset containing Indian court judgments, their corresponding citing judgments, and abstractive summaries. IN-Ext-Cit: A dataset containing Indian Supreme Court judgments, extractive summaries prepared by legal experts, and corresponding citing judgments. The datasets are intended to support research in legal text summarization, citation-based summarization, and computational legal studies.
