TKS5 mediates the formation of podosome rosettes in pulmonary fibroblasts and promotes fibrosis.

Here we assess the effect of Tks5 knockout on the transcriptome of activated lung fibroblasts. For this purpose we examine TGF-beta treated fibroblasts from wild type and Tks5 KO mice. We show that Tks5 deficiency affects transcriptome of lung fibroblasts leading to the suppression of biological processes relative to the extracellular matrix and cell migration. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of Quant-seq data from TGF-beta treated wild type and TKS5 knock-out TGF-beta treated lung fibroblasts.
