This dataset provides foraminifera counts for marsh core and grab samples taken in the backbarrier of Sapelo Island, Georgia, USA. Foraminifera species were identified and counted for samples in the channels as well as on the marsh platform.本数据集提供了美国佐治亚州萨佩洛岛障壁后区域采集的沼泽岩芯与沉积物抓样的有孔虫（foraminifera）计数数据。针对潮沟及沼泽滩面的所有样品，研究人员均完成了有孔虫物种的鉴定与计数工作。
