Mating trait & fitness assays

Data from laboratory assays of ejaculate weight (male weight loss during a single mating event), lifespan (days) of once-mated females, and the number of offspring produced from a single mating. Mating pairs were crosses between 11 experimental evolution lines, evolved for 20 generations under one of four treatment combinations: male-biased sex ratio + fed, female-biased sex ratio + fed, male-biased sex ratio + unfed, female-biased sex ratio + unfed. Crosses were made within and between treatment combinations but not within lines.

本数据集涵盖三项实验室测定数据：射精量（单次交配事件中雄性的体重损失量）、仅交配一次的雌性的寿命（以天为单位），以及单次交配产生的后代数量。所用交配对源自11个实验进化品系（experimental evolution lines），这些品系在四种处理组合之一下历经20代进化，四种处理组合分别为：雄性偏性比+喂食组、雌性偏性比+喂食组、雄性偏性比+未喂食组、雌性偏性比+未喂食组。杂交既可在同一处理组合内部开展，也可在不同处理组合之间进行，但未在同一品系内部实施。
