Mass sequencing of bacterial 16S rRNA gene fragments was performed in order to assess bacteiral composition and community structure on germinating seeds of cucumber (Cucumis sativus). Seeds were germinated for 24-48h in perlite, bio-soilds compost-amended perlite and in the presence of the oomycete plant-pathogen Pythium aphanidermatum. analysis was done on total DNA extracted form the seed and seedling samples.
