资源简介:
This dataset contains three MATLAB scripts, their instructions manual and one field data workbook supporting the methodology presented in the accompanying manuscript. The codes address blind-zone refraction errors in crosshole seismic testing.
Constrained_Probabilistic_Inversion.m performs automated detection of blind-zone refraction effects in crosshole velocity profiles. For each measurement node, the algorithm scans neighbouring layers for velocity contrasts sufficient to trigger floor or ceiling refractions. Results are reported as a mean corrected velocity with a 90% confidence interval.
interface_sensitivity.m generates a dimensionless sensitivity chart relating the apparent-to-true velocity ratio (V_app/V_slow) to the normalised interface distance (h/D) for a range of velocity contrasts.
Crosshole_Seismic_Forward_Modeler.m simulates a crosshole seismic survey over a user-defined layered earth model at multiple borehole spacings. For each depth-offset combination, the code determines the first-arriving wave (direct, floor refraction, or ceiling refraction) using Snell's law geometry, reconstructs the physical raypath, and computes the apparent velocity.
Test_data_from_field_locations.xlsx contains crosshole seismic test data from a field investigation, including measurement depths, borehole spacing at each node, recorded arrival times, apparent wave velocities derived from direct-wave travel times, and corrected velocities obtained after application of the probabilistic inversion procedure.
Crosshole_Seismic_Tools_UserManual.pdf— User manual documenting input file formats, user-adjustable parameters, output variables, and figures produced by each script, along with MATLAB version and toolbox requirements and a troubleshooting reference.
