Slab from a funerary monument

Slab from a funerary monument made of Pentelic marble and found in the ancient cemetery of Kerameikos, Athens. The monument, from which the slab comes, will have had the form of a naiskos, with pilasters and a pediment made of separate pieces of marble. This was the right slab of the three forming the monument. It depicts a woman wearing a chiton and a himation, which she draws up with her right hand. This object is part of Scan The World. Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
