All-trans retinoic acid (atRA) can cause stable cleft palate. The etiology of atRA-induced cleft palate remains poorly characterized. We systematically capture the cellular composition of atRA-exposed and normal embryonic gestation 16.5 days (E16.5) mouse palate by the single-cell RNA sequencing technique.
