资源简介:
Regeneration in the green anole involves differential expression of hundreds of genes that regulate wound healing, musculoskeletal development, hormonal response, and embryonic morphogenesis. MicroRNAs are able to regulated large groups of genes, but their role in lizard regeneration has not been investigated. In this study, we have identified novel and orthologous microRNAs in the regenerating tail. Differential regulation of microRNAs may play a role in coordinating the timing and expression of hundreds of genes involved in regeneration.
