The cartographic model 1:50 000 – grid (KM50-R) is the digital state map of the entire Austrian territory in a basic scale of 1:50 000. It is free of blades and georeferenced. The update takes place nationwide at periodic intervals but also on occasions in the event of significant infrastructural changes. The Austrian map 1:50 000 (ÖK50) – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) – as well as the Austrian map 1:25 000 (ÖK25V) is derived from the KM50-R. This 50 km x 50 km tile is one of a total of 63 tiles, which together cover the territory of Austria1:5万比例尺制图网格模型（KM50-R）是覆盖奥地利全境的国家级数字地图，采用1:5万基本比例尺。该数据无图幅拼接瑕疵并已完成地理配准。其更新采用定期全国同步更新机制，遇重大基础设施变更时亦可启动临时更新。奥地利1:5万比例尺地图（ÖK50）及奥地利1:25万比例尺地图（ÖK25V）均由KM50-R衍生得到，相关编制工作与奥地利联邦国防部（BMLV）协同开展。该数据集以50千米×50千米为单幅图幅单元，此类图幅总计63幅，共同覆盖奥地利全境，本数据集所涉即为其中之一。
