Transcriptome analysis of ear cartilage lipochondrocytes at multiple stages of differentiation.

RNA-seq data was obtained from mouse ear cartilage lipochondrocytes at varying postnatal stages. The transcriptome of each stage was analyzed and compared against other stages, creating a "timeline" of cellular events. Adult transcriptome data was analyzed and compared against adult white adipose tissue adipocyte transcriptome. Overall design: Transcriptome profiling of mouse ear cartilage lipochondrocytes at five postnatal stages. Samples were compared against each other or to inguinal adipocyte controls. Three replicates per sample.
