Dataset of Estudi i caracterització de la traducció catalana de Macbeth feta per Cebrià Montoliu 1907

Three data files explaining and complementing Júlia Palomares' degree dissertation, on the translation techniques (English to Catalan) of Cebrià Montoliu's 1907 translation of William Shakespeare's tragedy <em>Macbeth</em>. The data contained in these files have been obtained with the use of Skecth Engine, the European program for translators. These are the files: <em>Wordlist inicial de la versió original de 'Macbeth'</em>: An initial <em>wordlist</em> listing all Macbeth words and signs specifying occurrence number in every case. On this exhaustive list a work of pruning has been applied, resulting in: <em>Wordlist final de la versió original de 'Macbeth'</em>, a <em>wordlist</em> in which only the final 870 selected words (nouns and adjectives) appear. From this list, the next step was: <em>Concordances de ‘Macbeth’ en anglés i català (traducció de Montoliu, 1907)</em>. This is an extensive double list in which every one of these 870 words has been listed in its context (span of 25 words before and 25 after the selected word), with each term faced in every case with its corresponding translated word or words, with an equal context span.本数据集包含三份文件，用于阐释并补充胡利娅·帕洛马雷斯（Júlia Palomares）的学位论文，该论文聚焦塞夫里亚·蒙托利乌（Cebrià Montoliu）1907年译威廉·莎士比亚悲剧《麦克白》（Macbeth）的英译加泰罗尼亚语翻译技巧。上述文件中的数据均通过欧洲翻译专用工具Skecth Engine获取所得。具体文件如下：《Wordlist inicial de la versió original de 'Macbeth'》，即初始词表（wordlist），收录《麦克白》原文全部词汇与符号，并标注各条目出现频次。对该全量词表进行筛选精简后，得到《Wordlist final de la versió original de 'Macbeth'》，该词表仅保留经筛选后的870个名词与形容词词汇。基于该词表，进一步生成《Concordances de ‘Macbeth’ en anglés i català (traducció de Montoliu, 1907)》，此为一份大型双语对照词表，收录前述870个词汇的上下文语境，选取目标词前后各25个词汇作为语境范围，每个术语均搭配对应译词，并保留同等长度的语境跨度。
