Flow of the cartridge

This dataset contains the flowchart for an enclosed blood sample preprocessing cartridge intended for cfDNA extraction. The process starts with the components on the left side of the chart: blood sample loading and pneumatically operated plasma extraction using a hollow-fibre membrane filter. Then, the plasma is transferred to a container on the right side, where another multi-port valve is used to deliver the extraction reagents one after another. Between the various process phases, a megnetic interface is used to retain the magnetic particles.
