<i>Gamification has been demonstrating significant impact in education and libraries. Libraries conduct several activities to promote their library services and educate users in-terms of resources and services offered by them. Libraries follow the best practices of promoting the library services and developing information literacy skills of users through conducting the library orientation programmes, resource sharing, vendor talks, demonstrations, training &amp; tutorial sessions, content alerts, guidelines for resource quality assessment, seminars, workshops and focus group discussion etc. to make users aware and motivate them to the effective use of library services and resources. In the current environment of acquiring knowledge through modern &amp; intellectual skills, modern learning styles like using more online platforms, computer &amp; mobile technologies, teamwork and cooperation, engaging in creativity &amp; innovation, critical thinking, solving problem, media literacy etc. have been introduced. Thus, modern libraries have started to facilitate gamification platforms in the library premises to create more enthusiasm for learning, quickly with deeper understanding, to increase engagement and motivation in use of library services and resources. This paper will provide informative overview on online games available for developing information literacy instruction and promotion of library services. </i><i>This paper also ranking games based their features and designing, Through this study major games are found in minimized menu layers of an interface; player able to identify their score; having consistent in control, colour, typography, and dialogue design and give hints to play.</i>Identify the best library games and ranking them based on their usability, efficiency, effectiveness, game interface, game mechanics and game play etc. features. The most of library related online games has the better user interface, user friendly, regularly updated with latest technology, and these all has the specific purpose and game structure which are comes under the Game Interface, Game Mechanics and Game Play.
