Oryza sativa f. spontanea Raw sequence reads

Weedy (red) rice is an emerging pernicious paddy weed and characterized as an unique genetic population of Oryza spp. that are morphologically similar to cultivated rice (O. sativa) but with seed shattering and greater seed dormancy and environmental adaptation. In this project, 155 weedy and 76 local cultivated rice accessions from four most weedy rice-damaged regions in China and were genome sequenced to above 15 coverage (×). Multiple population genetics analyses were performed to reveal the origins and environmental adaptation strategies of weedy rice.
