ChildCIdb v1

ChildCIdb v1 is a large-scale publicly available dataset designed and developed by the Biometrics and Data Pattern Analysis Lab (BiDA Lab) at the Autonomous University of Madrid, with the primary goal of investigating children’s interactions with mobile devices. This dataset encompasses data from 438 children aged 18 months to 8 years, covering the first three stages of Piaget’s theory of cognitive development. Collected via children’s interactions with tablet computers, the dataset includes a variety of tasks conducted using both fingers and styluses, aimed at evaluating children’s cognitive and neuromotor development. Beyond enabling a better understanding of children’s interaction patterns, ChildCIdb v1 also supports the development of applications across the fields of e-learning and e-health, such as child age detection and similar use cases.
