Package Treatment Plants in Kentucky

The location of package treatment plants in public wastewater systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A package treatment plant is a wastewater treatment facility that pre-manufactured at a factory, shipped, and installed at a complete unit. The purpose of this feature class is to illustrate the location of package treatment plants in public wastewater systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as collected by Kentucky’s Area Development Districts and provided by the Kentucky Division of Water. The locations of package treatment plants, along with the basic attribute data concerning those features, are used by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Area Development Districts, public wastewater systems, and other state/local agencies for the purpose of wastewater infrastructure planning and management, project development, asset inventories, capital improvement plans, data analysis, and for any other purpose that will improve the wastewater infrastructure and service in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
