Regulation of actin cytoskeleton signaling pathways improves egg-production through up-regulation of integrin beta family genes expression in ducks

Ovaries transcriptomic profiling between of egg of three high number of laying eggs (HEN) and three low number of laying eggs (LEN) in Longyan Shan-ma duck at 71 weeks were sequenced using Illumina Hiseq 2500 technology. At 71 weeks, three duck with the high egg number (HEN) and three duck with the low egg number (LEN) from full-sib family were weighed and the number of laying egg, average egg weight and total egg weight were calculated. The ducks were killed by stunning and exsanguination, 12 h after feed was withheld.
